What affects blood pressure? Which lifestyle practices have the most influence? This interactive small group workshop was held in May, 2016. We looked at the latest research about hypertension, and discussd the effect of sodium, weight management, and meal patterns that benefit the management of hypertension. The workshop was eligible for 3 general subsequent approval continuing education hours from the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals.
