No Latex Gloves in Illinois food service

A new Illinois law took effect January, 1, 2023.  Food service facilities can NOT use latex gloves when preparing and handling food.  Some people are allergic to latex, and latex sometimes gets into the food.  If you cannot get vinyl or nitrile gloves and have to use latex, you must post a sign near where the food is sold or delivered to the customer until you are able to get other approved for foodservice gloves.
