Foodservice Sanitation Refresher Workshop
to "renew" your Foodservice Sanitation Manager Certificate
If you have a current FSSMC Certificate that expires 365 days or less before May 22, 2018, this workshop meets the IDPH requirements to renew your certificate.
If you don't have a current certificate, please choose the Basic Sanitation workshop.
This workshop, taught by a certified IDPH instructor and Registered Dietitian, helps you understand and use the information you learn. The active, small group format allows you to go beyond the basics of keeping food safe for your customers, and helps you solve your particular sanitation challenges. This workshop provides more detailed information in a shorter time period than the Basic workshop. Having the classes once a week over five weeks lets you review the information gradually, making it easier to fit the workshop into your work and personal life. Practice quizzes similar in format to the required test help you pass the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP) test on the last day of workshop.
This Sanitation "Refresher" Workshop at Your Learning Basket in Belvidere will begin Tuesday, April 24, 2018 and meet once a week from 1:30 to 4:30 PM through May 22. The May 22 class will be the NRFSP test to enable you to "renew your Foodservice Sanitation Manager certificate.
You will also need a textbook:
